Vidyavardhaka first Grade College was established in the year 1978 under the auspices of Vidyavardhaka Sangha (R). This College is affiliated to the University of Mysore, MYSORE, under section 12(B) and section 2F of UGC and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme, with an annual intake of 60 students.The programme was previously offered as Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) and has now been upgraded to BBA to align with contemporary business and industry requirements. It is designed to develop managerial competence, leadership qualities, and entrepreneurial skills among students. The programme provides a strong foundation in management, marketing, finance, human resource management, and entrepreneurship. Through a blend of academic learning, practical exposure, and skill-based training, it prepares students for successful careers in business, management, entrepreneurship, and higher education.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination (PUC) conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme. Students from any stream—Commerce, Science, or Arts—may seek admission subject to the rules and regulations in force.
